Awards Received 

•         Lion Dr.S.G.Rajarathinam Memorial Award for excellence in Education servicees on 27^th February, 2006. 

•        Award of Honour for achievement in academic administration, signifying her contributions to academic administration and women's empowerment on the eve of International Women's Day celebrations of Centre for Women's Studies, alagappa University, Karaikudi on 16^th March, 2006. 

•         Swami Vivekananda Award and Vidya Alankar title in recognition of her high scholastic order and patronage to the cause of research and development in the study of many tributaries of oriental heritage such s Literature, Language, Art and culture and for the propagation, modernization and popularization of all branches of ancient and knowledge, linked in a befitting manner with modern perspectives form the Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage, an International Institute of Oriental Studies and Research, Kolkata at the 30^th International Astrology and Oriental Heritage Conference 2007 held on 13^th February, 2007 at Kolkata. 

•         ' Queen of Home Science Education' award from International Lions Club on the eve of International women’s day Celebrations 2006-2007 on 8^th March, 2007. 

•         ' Mangayar Kula Maa Thava Maamani ' Award in recognition of her outstanding services in the field of Education, Women Empowerment, Youth Welfare and Social Awareness from Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Coimbatore branch on 14^th September, 2007. 

•         'Excellence in Education’ Award in recognition on her distinguished services in the field of Education and Administration from the World of Women-2007, Morals Event Management Services, on 2^nd November, 2007. 

•         '' Life Time Achievement Award'' in recognition of her services in the area of Women's Education from His Excellency Carlos alberto Yrigoyen Forno, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru. The award was sponsored by the International association of Educators for World Peace affiliated to United Nations  - ECOSOC, UNDPI, UNESCO. INCED. UNICEF and the Global Open University, Nagaland on the occasion of the National Open and Distance Education Summit held on 30-31 December, 2007. 

•         Sankaracharya Award and Viswa Vidyacharya title in recognition of her high scholastic order and patronage to the cause of research and development in the study off many tributaries of oriental heritage such as Literature, Language, Art and Culture and for the propagation, modernization and popularization of all branches of ancient and knowledge, linied in a befitting manner with modern perspectives from the Indian Institue of Oriental Heritage, An International Institute of Oriental Studies and Research, Kolkata at the 31^st International Conference on Oriental Heritage Conference 2008 held on 19^th January, 2008 at Kolkata. 

Honorary Colonel Rank 

Honorary Colonel Rank was bestowed by CMDE UN Chitnavis, Nav Sena Medal, Deputy Director General NCC, TN, P, N & N under the presidency of Dr.K.Kulandaivel, Chancellor on 12^th September, 2006.
