The Avinashilingam University has introduced a
new course in Tourism Management in 1996. This
course has been designed to cover all aspects of
Tourism & Hospitality industry, laying special
emphasis on exposing the students to the various
sectors of the tourism industry like travel
agencies, tour operations, airlines, CRS companies
and other allied areas.
The Bachelor of Tourism Management [BTM] is
designed to create opportunities for employment in
the travel industry in the middle management level.
It also equips students with a wide range of
transferable skills, which might be applied to other
sectors, and provides a sound platform for graduate
study. BBA (Tourism) Course was introduced in
the year 2007
