Outreach Activities
Right from the autonomous status, the Department
undertook community oriented subject linked programmes
to disseminate the subject knowledge to the public.
Special Activities
As an extension work, the Department has carried out a
number of special projects such as AIDS awareness,
voter's awareness, M.L.P., Social evils eradication,
Health and hygiene camps, waste recycling, self
employment and income generating activities and
popularization of science through science day
celebrations.
Future Plans
- To establish an energy research center in our
university.
- Establishment of an Energy park in the campus.
- Mini conversion systems of wind energy may be
installed in the Institution to generate electricity.
