MMM is an organisation
registered under the Charitable Society Act in 1982. It
is well known for its various units - Institute for
Cardio Vascular Diseases for Cardiac Care, Institute of
Reproductive Medicine for its Women's Health,
Reproduction and Infertility, Institute of Liver
and Diseases and Chennai Transplant Centre for Urology
and Nephrology related diseases.
The Under Graduate and
Post Graduate courses in clinical Nutrition are
specially structured to orient and expose the students
to hospital placement. The students will be given
training in the hospital environment, dietetics
department and clinical laboratory and teaching
methodology will include case studies and field
studies.
Medical Sociology programme fulfils the long felt gap
between the knowledge and training necessary for all
those who work in the first line of interaction with the
patients in patient care settings and the beneficiaries
in health care programmes of the Government and
Non-Government organisations.
The courses will be conducted at MMM, Chennai.
The examinations will be conducted and degreed will be
awarded by the Avinashilingam university for Women,
Coimbatore.
Medium of Instruciton
Medium of instruction is English for all majors
except Tamil. Students are permitted to answer any
examination paper in Tamil wiht prior permission.
