Application
for admission to M.Sc.
Biotechnology Degree course should
be sent to the Registrar, on or
before 06.05.2011. The
application form and prospectus can be obtained from
the Registrar's Office, on payment of
Rs.100/- in cash or by Bank Demand Draft,
drawn in favour of the Registrar,
Avinashilingam Deemed University for Women,
payable at Coimbatore, together with a
self-addressed stamped envelope (A4 28 x 13 cms
in
size) for Rs.20/-. Scheduled Caste and
Scheduled Tribe Candidates can get the prospectus and
application form by paying 50% of cost of
application on production of an attested
copy of the Community Certificate. The
attested copies of community
certificate, Higher Secondary and
Degree Mark Sheet up to the
previous semester should be
attached with the application
forms. The application form and
prospectus can also be downloaded
from
http://www.avinuty.ac.in. but
should be accompanied by a DD for
the application cost (Rs100/- or
50/- as the case may be) drawn in
favour of the Registrar,
Avinashilingam Deemed University
for Women, Payable at Coimbatore
Documents to be submitted
The following
documents must be submitted at the time of interview and
admission, failing which admission will be refused.
1. Higher Secondary Examination mark sheet/Pre-degree mark
sheet.
2. Degree mark sheet and the Degree Certificates (all in
original).
3. Transfer Certificate/College Leaving Certificate (in
original).
4. Conduct Certificate (in original) from the Head of the
institution in which the candidate last studied.
5. Migration Certificate (for other University candidates).
6. Community Certificate from local Tahsildar in the case of
SC/ST/MBC/BC and Denotified Tribes belonging to Tamil Nadu only.
7. Medical Fitness Certificate from the Govt. civil surgeon.
8. Certificate for proof of age.
Note :
It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that correct
marks are furnished in her application form. If at any time, it is
found that the marks furnished by her are not correct, the following
action will be taken.
1. Her admission will be cancelled with forfeiture of all the
fee paid, no matter at what stage of the course she is at that time.
2. She will be debarred from pursuing the studies for a period
of three years in any University and
3. Legal action will be instituted against her for having
furnished wrong marks.
