2004 - 05

 Staff:

• Dr. S.Premakumari, Professor and H.O.D has been conferred with a Honorary appointment to the Research Board of Advisors, The American Biographical Institute.
• Dr.C.Yegammai, Reader, has received the best NSS Programme Officer Award.
• Dr.S.Kowsalya, Reader, is continuing as the Executive Committee member, Nutrition Society of India, Hyderabad.

 2005 - 06

  Staff:

•            Mrs. S.Haripriya, Lecturer won the first prize on "Knowledge Paradigm in the Training on Achieving Institutional Linkages for Sustainable Nutritional Security and Role of Women" organized by the Natesan Institute of Co-operative Management at Chennai during 20^th to 22^nd December 2006.

 2006 - 07

   Staff:

•         Dr.S.Premakumari, Professor and H.O.D received Shiksha Rattan Puraskar Award from India International Friendship Society, New Delhi on 6^th June 2007.

•         Dr. U.K. Lakshmi, Professor received an award for the best oral presentation at the "Consultation meet on Stragegies for Prevention of Malnutrition and Micronutrient Deficiencies" held at NIPPCD, Bangalore, 28^th to 30^th November, 2007.

•         Mrs.C.A. Kalpana received the best Poster Award during the National Conference on Facts and Myths of Obesity held at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, 19^th to 20^th December 2007.

•         Ms.PA. Raajeswari received II prize for best Poster Award at the National Seminar on "Home Science a Promising Future Ahead" conducted by the Fathima College, Madurai, 14^th to 15^th December 2007.

Dr.S. Kowsalya received best Poster Award during the National Seminar on Current Concepts in Food Processing and Technology held at RVS College of Arts and Science, Sulur, Coimbatore, 27th February 2008.
