Dr. Sathyavathi Muthu professor and Head of the Department participated in the Asia - Africa seminar of solar cooker leader held Nairobi, Kenya from 21-25^th February 2005. She attended the VI international conference on Solar Cooking and Food Processing held at Granada, Spain in July 2006.

She has also participated in the Asia Network Solar Cooking and Food Processing Seminar held at Katmandu, Nepal in April 2007.
