Apparel Designing and Fashion Art provides the student a rich knowledge in the dynamics of fashion textiles-fibers to fabrics, sewing and pattern making, designing and construction of men's, women's and children's apparels, textile testing and quality control, fashion illustration and apparel marketing and merchandising. The two industrial internships during summer and the projects in the third year accentuate their practical knowledge and instigate their research perceptions.

The special focus in BSc Apparel Designing and Fashion Art offers innumerable career opportunities like Fabric designers, Embroidery, Quality assurance managers , Sketcher/color stylist, Pattern marker, Apparel producer, Entrepreneur, Merchandiser, Fashion advertising and publicity and Fashion consultant in the fashion Market.
